Dr. Joshua George
Criminal Justice Discipline Coordinator & Digital Forensics Program Coordinator
Dr. Joshua George holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology from St. Ambrose University, a master’s degree in security management from Bellevue University, and a doctorate in business administration specializing in computer and information security from Northcentral University. He also completed an executive certificate in leadership and management from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. George holds multiple certifications, including CFE, CCE, and GASF.
He brings 12 years of federal law enforcement experience, including roles as an investigator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Special Agent for the U.S. Secret Service, and a federal officer with U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services. He specializes in cybercrime and digital forensics.

Donald Duchene
Security Management Coordinator
Donald Duchene is a Delta College graduate with an associate degree in criminal justice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/law enforcement from Ferris State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership and administration from Saginaw Valley State University.
He began his career as an Arenac County Deputy Sheriff and served 25 years with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office as an officer, detective, and sergeant. During his career, he supervised internal investigations, a federal drug interdiction task force, Homeland Security liaison work, and in-service police training. He has also taught as an adjunct at Delta College and Ferris State University. Later, he worked as an investigator for the Michigan Liquor Control. He now teaches police patrol operations, security, criminal investigations, and related subjects.

Craig Irvine
Corrections Coordinator
Craig Irvine is a graduate of the Delta College Criminal Justice program. He served with the Bay City Police Department Reserves from 1996 to 1998 and graduated from the Delta Police Academy in 1997 with an associate degree. He joined the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office in 1998 and was later promoted to Sergeant and Administrative Sergeant of the jail. He is dual certified in MCOLES law enforcement and local corrections.
Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia Southern University. He has trained officers in use of force, pepper spray, taser, defensive tactics, and corrections academy modules. Craig served as an adjunct instructor before becoming a full-time instructor in 2026.
